 Hello  Mr Galloway

I realise you are busy, but i thought i should inform you, as a british former labor politician, member of parliament and critic of goverment malfeasance, of an email exchange i am having with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth office Libya Unit in regard to the illegal and brutal war on the libyan people. I know from your conversation with the libyan 'doctor' that you oppose the NATO bombardment of the Libyan people. But the FCO does not.  Their 2nd letter to me is below: above it is my reply to them.Ive put this letter exchange on the internet in order to  inform people that not only is the  FCO position outrageous, its claim to speak for the Libyan people bogus, its likely the british government at some level was involved in creating the conditions for this war prior to its commencment:

http://rebelgriot.blogspot.com/2011/09/mustafa-abdul-jalil-and-mahmoud-jibril.html

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

The UN Charter's Preamble states:

"WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED

-- to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and

-- to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and

-- to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and

-- to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom...."

RES1973 has put an end to this, and compromised the UN in its role as peacekeeper.

=================================================================================================================

Hello Libya Unit,

Well ive no idea who i am writing to, but there seems to be a person on the other.  Reading your letter, it reads like a form letter expressing FCO policy but without evidence for any of its claims: what it does do is brazenly speak as if it were the voice of the Libyan people: a habit engendered by the politicians spending years pretending to be the voice of their electorates, not one of whom had any say in whether their money should be used to finance this illegal undeclared war. So lets go through it, but first the idea this insurgency is home grown with no foreign aid is not true:

http://rebelgriot.blogspot.com/2011/09/mustafa-abdul-jalil-and-mahmoud-jibril.html

where we learn, the UK government ,not informing the british people let alone the libyans, worked to get into office persons now spearheading the insurgency.

1. 7 months ago an armed insurgency was launched on a day of rage: called a peaceful protest by the media, it quickly turned into what it always was: An armed insurrection of the sort that occurred in the mid 1990s with the Libya Islamic Fighting Group(LIFG).As you know, cause i told you, there was no slaughter of the 'opponents' people of the sort we've seen in Bahrain, where Saudi troops were called in to quell a real peaceful protest, after a deal was made by the US with the saudis:

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article27823.htm

Where we learn only 9 of the 22 members of the Arab league backed the no fly zone. Those 9 members were dominated by the GCC led by Saudi Arabia.

The mass of libyan people support Gadaffi, as we see in the 01 07 video of Tripoli:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iVgGLPAEqg

And that  'international community' consists of mostly white party politicians who have not asked their own peoples for their endorsement pf this undeclared war (or as Obama in Orwellian mode calls it: Kinetic Miliary action).

2.The doomsayers have been proven right...The yea sayers like the FCO were saying this would be another cake walk. Yet 7 months later the libyan government and people are still resisting enemies foreign and domestic, which includes thousands of foreign mercenaries, their british french american 'advisors' and extensive NATO bombings, use for cover so insurgents can massacre pillage and rape.An estimated 60000 libyans are now dead in what was meant to be a peacekeeping operation(Responsibility to Protect(R2P)). But R2P has become Right to Plunder or Recipe to Plunder....R2P reflects Ghandian/Guevara revolutionary philosophies tailored for imperialism.

My contacts insideTripoli as well as independent reporters tell a very different story: rape, murder, purges and incarceration of government supporters: these continue, even now as we write our emails. Take this example:

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23988939-rebels-shoot-wife-and-girls-fleeing-libya-because-she-is-called-gaddafi.do

Independent journalist Lizzie Phelan tells us of the genocide and witch hunts now occuring in Libya, thanks to UNSC Res 1973.

http://www.voltairenet.org/Witch-hunts-in-free-Libya

http://counterpsyops.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/6-videos-of-civilians-victims-of-nato-in-libya-share-the-horrible-truth/

NATO bombs everything:schools and hospitals

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzML0Sb5Ccc&feature=youtu.be

Thats the sort of monster the UK US and France have unleashed and has been given the support of the party politicals called the  'international community'. But they dont represent me ofrmilloins of world citizens, the real international community.

The idea that Libya has had 40 years of dictatorial and corrupt government is laughable, as in 40 years the oil wealth of libya instead of being syphoned off to fatten the profits of the multinationals and foreign governments  has been used to raise Libya fro one of the poores countries in the third world to one of the most developed...And these are UN stats:

'Before the chaos erupted, Libya had a lower incarceration rate than the Czech republic. It ranked 61st. Libya had the lowest infant mortality rate of all of Africa. Libya had the highest life expectancy of all of Africa. Less than 5% of the population was undernourished. In response to the rising food prices around the world, the government of Libya abolished ALL taxes on food.'

http://davidrothscum.blogspot.com/2011/02/world-cheers-as-cia-plunges-libya-into.html

But as the government included some, from Benghazi(Libya government was inclusive...an UK backed one wont be) now in the opposition, you may be referring to them.

3. The Libyan people do not support the invasion of their country by europeans or arab patsy mercenaries from Qatar or Jordan, Tunisia or Egypt,,all 5 being dictatorships. Here is  a phone call between two of leaders of the now feuding opposition:

'The Misurati commander stop him, telling him that the US & French are very well informed about the situation on the ground, since they are with them on the ground. They where in Tripoli during the assault, and they are still there. He says in his own brigade only, there is a foreign intel. group of 12 US spec ops, and 6 French (spies?), they are giving all the info, through internet & press (?). So the situation is quiet clear for them, no need to pretend there is a new Libyan army'

http://justpaste.it/luzbek

So as we see your claim the the libyan people 'have done it without a foreign occupying force and under their own leadership' is a lie. Why use foreign mercenaries and NATO bombers if the libyan people alone had risen up en masse? The Libyan people did not rise up against Gadaffi, not when millions mass in july in many cities in a show of solidarity and support.

4. The UN as we  know it is at an end. Not only has Banki Moon violated UN protocols, as i showed you in my letter, its violated its charter and replaced its role as peacemaker with war maker disguised by the R2P ploy. Why did it choose NATO for its peacekeeper? NATO was killing civilians in Afghanistan.NATO has since showed its R2P challenged by refusing to aid black african refugees fleeing the very war UN and NATO have unleashed.

http://www.wsws.org/articles/2011/aug2011/nato-a13.shtml

What is a north atlantic 'defence' pact even doing waging undeclared war in North Africa or near the border with China?

5.Whats causing and is perpetuating the trail of blood is RES1973, NATO bombings/strafings and the armed insurgency, which is committing genocide. Defending ones country from armed aggressors is enshrined in what remains of international law. During the Tottenham riots, the Cameron regime was mulling sending in armed troops. But as these were mere rioters and not NATO backed alqaeda insurgents it proved not necessary. So if real armed insurgents backed by a foreign power were to launch an uprising, what would the UK govt do? Cameron has already told us. So, no Gadafi cant legally be hauled before any white european court, not when the ICC refuses to haul in Bush or Blair and their military heads for the war on Iraq and afghanistan.

6.  How can the UK or US or anyone freeze assets? Does that mean on a whim my money in a bank can be frozen and taken and given to someone else? That means banks are not safe places for money. That money belongs to theLibyan people and was marked for projects for libya and africa, not to be handed out to private individuals of the TNC to pay wages. Thats called THEFT. Isnt this what UK howls about when its assets abroad are nationalised?

UK may deploy a 'military team' in Libya...it will be seen as an illegal occupying army and treated as such by the Libya people. The libyans dont want british soldiers raping their men and women or imposing a pax britannica, to shore up a dodgy satrapy.

It was RES 1973 that brazenly based on lies that has orchestrated this catastrophe, letting loose an armed insurgency and NATO robot bombers. As we know RAF pilots committed A1 war crimes when they bombed Zliten:

 http://humanrightsinvestigations.org/2011/08/21/bombing-of-zlitan-by-the-raf/

a fact the Libyan Unit knows all about, but refuses to acknowledge. Notice too that no US/UK French/ Norway etc pilots have  been paraded on return from their missions

'The Norwegian state has earned large amounts of money since the beginning of the UN-backed international military operations in Libya because of the effect of the conflict on oil prices – something which Amnesty International Norway believes could lead to “a problem for Norway’s reputation.” Meanwhile, the country’s defense minister refused to confirm whether Norwegian fighter jets were involved in Monday’s attack on Colonel Gadhafi’s headquarters, despite American sources reporting Norway’s role'

What are they afraid of? Why not say: yes our pilot bombed the Gadaffi 'headquarters'.His name is... instead, silence.

7. When the evil Trinity of Sarcozy Cameron and Levy paraded in Tripoli, they highlighted how this was a war to bring back foreign domination, foreign military bases(US NATO and Israel), to return Libya to the condition of a prisoner/patient having his blood sucked out by vampires. This is nothing for Libyans be they pro-gadafi or pro-NTC to be proud of.

My impression is that the FCO is misusing public monies to misinform the UK public on Libya...am i right?

The UN Charter as we see in the preamble does not allow what Banki has done: he has mooned the charter in  endorsing the NATO war on Libya

David Cameron, Nicholas Sarkozy and Barack Obama, under the guise of NATO, have dropped over 40,000 bombs on Libya causing near $500 billion damage to the country's entire infrastructure so far, sending it back to the stone age, and they are still bombing as we speak. And most gruesome of all, NATO has killed over 50,000 Libyans, almost all civilians including babies, children and women. Knowing that al-Qaeda had a fatwah out on Gaddafi because Gaddafi helped US & UK capture & kill al-Qaeda in Libya, Cameron and Obama joined forces deliberately with al-Qaeda and its LIFG franchise (both listed as terrorist groups by US & UK regimes) to topple Gaddafi and take over Libya in the most barbaric & murderous way possible. Finally, the pièce de résistance to this coalition of evil's crime spree, Cameron, Sarkozy and Obama give al-Qaeda a seat at the UN under the guise of the NTC. It would be laughable if it weren't all so serious and dangerous. These are all war crimes and a complete savaging of any notion of justice & goodness. This coalition of evil must be brought to justice

August 2011: Armed gangs sack embassies:

Armed gangs in Libya have ransacked the residence of the South Korean ambassador, broke into the embassy of Bulgaria and looted the Venezuelan embassy.

The folks at Intelnews have some suspicions:

[C]ould it be that these attacks are not led by the rebels themselves, but by some of their embedded American and Western European intelligence operatives, who may be taking advantage of the chaotic situation in the Libyan capital to collect valuable documents from selected foreign embassies?

Maybe, maybe not. It is weird that some embassies get protection by the rebels while others do not. One could explain this with regards to the Venezuelan embassy as Venezuela supports Gaddhafi's position, but why attacking the embassies of Bulgaria or South Korea?

It shows that the new puppet dictatorship of the Transitional National Council is either incapable of keeping foreign embassies safe or is deliberately leaving some unprotected. On who's advice?

Along with jihadists monarchists, free marketeers, and genocidal racists NATO : France UK  USA australia canada etc are acting in concert with human traffickers:

Smugglers Put in Charge of humanitarian evacuation?

Under what kind of authority was that approved? Well, it seems, the local authorities where allied lynch mobs had first pushed these human cattle to want to leave. I again refer to the CIRET-AVT/CF2R report, page 14, "Irredentism of Eastern Libya"

Finally, a little known fact, Benghazi has become, over the course of the last years, the epicentre of African migration to Europe. This human traffic was transformed into a vast industry, turning over billions of dollars. A parallel mafia type world developed in the town where the trafficking was deeply rooted and employed thousands of people in all areas, not without corrupting the police and officials.

It is only a year ago that the Libyan government with the assistance of Italy was able

to control this cancer.

With the disappearance of its ‘business’ and the arrest of a number of its leaders, the local mafia was ready to finance and to support the Libyan rebellion. Numerous gangs and members of the underworld emerged from the shadows and are known to have carried out punitive assaults against the African immigrants in Benghazi and its suburbs. Since the start of the insurgency hundreds of immigrant travellers, Sudanese, Somalians, Ethiopians, and Eritreans were robbed and murdered by the rebel militias. This fact is carefully concealed by the international media

 ======================================================================================================

The Libya Unit of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office sent me this email reply to an earlier letter:

Dear Mr Souter,

Thank you for your email of 21 September.

1.

Six months ago, as Qadhafi’s tanks bore down on Benghazi, he predicted that his opponents people would be slaughtered like rats.  He could not have been more wrong. He had not counted on the courage of the Libyan people, the principled stand of the Arab League and the resolve of the international community. At the UN Human Rights Council, the EU, Arab League, NATO and in New York the international community showed that nations can successfully apply the concerted diplomatic, economic and military pressure needed to protect the lives of thousands of civilians.

2.

The doomsayers who predicted a protracted stalemate, or chaos and humanitarian catastrophe when Tripoli was liberated have also been proved wrong.  The Prime Minister, Foreign Secretary and President Sarkozy visited Tripoli and Benghazi last week.  They saw the great progress that Libya has made in a matter of weeks, and the delight and relief of Libyans tasting freedom after more than forty years of corrupt and dictatorial rule. They found signs of order and normality returning to daily life: policemen on the streets, food in the shops, and cafes crammed with ordinary Libyans able freely to discuss their future.

3.

The Libyan people have done what many said was impossible, and they have done it without a foreign occupying force and under their own leadership. Credit for this must go to Libyans themselves: to the men and women from all walks of life who rose up against Qadhafi, to the fighters, and to those who led the Libyan people through their struggle.

4.

The National Transitional Council (NTC) has taken up Libya’s seat at the UN General Assembly this week, and there are now a growing number of countries that recognise them as the government of Libya. However there are still obstacles to be overcome before the whole country is united, and the work to rebuild the Libyan state is just beginning.

5.

Qadhafi and his remaining supporters should lay down their arms. Their actions are perpetuating a long trail of blood and are endangering civilians.  As for Qadhafi himself, he must be brought to justice under Libyan and international law. No country should consider giving a bolt hole to this fugitive from justice, a man wanted on charges of crimes against humanity. Any country that does consider giving him sanctuary should remember that there is no expiry date for the charges he faces. Qadhafi will remain a wanted man for as long as it takes for justice to be done.

The NTC must continue to shoulder their responsibilities and show the leadership needed to get Libya back on its feet. The NTC were swift in their implementation of plans to meet Libya’s immediate needs and to bring security to liberated towns and cities; and for their commitment to an inclusive and representative future for Libya that upholds human rights.  The urgent challenge for the NTC now is to form a new interim government that reflects all sections of Libyan society. The NTC must also meet its commitments to create representative and accountable state structures, to take action to investigate allegations of human rights abuses and to ensure justice for all Libyans. Britain is ready to offer them assistance as they take on these tasks.

6.

Britain will continue to provide significant transition support and humanitarian assistance, including making places available in British specialist hospitals for critically ill Libyans. We have unfrozen more than £1.5 billion of assets in Britain to help the NTC pay for essential services. We are deploying a British military team to advise the NTC on security, and are providing funds for weapons disposal and the clearing of landmines. We stand ready to provide forensic advice, if requested, to help gather and preserve evidence of human rights abuses. And as our Prime Minister has said, we will continue with our allies to implement UN Security Council Resolutions 1970 and 1973 for as long as the safety and security of the Libyan people remains under threat.

7.

The Libyan people can be proud of what they have achieved and the British people can be proud of what they have done to help them already.

Your sincerely,

Libya Unit

Foreign & Commonwealth Office
